I had my meeting with Anne-Marie (WAY nice nurse!) She taught us (me and Robyn, although Robyn probably already knew) how to mix the meds and inject them! Pretty cool actually, I thought I would be really nervous about it all, but it was a breeze! I got to shoot up an orange (and then it sprayed me) as some practice, I think it will be really easy! I say that now, but I know the 1st shot I will be shaking much worse. I have to do it myself, which may not be a bad thing...Jeremy can't laugh at me, but I know it will take me a minute. We also got to practice mixing the Bravelle and Menopuar....pretty easy! 5 powders to 1 thing of water, so I will have a BUNCH of water vials and caps left over, but that is ok....it is the meds I need :) I also got a few more appointments scheduled. I go in on the 25th for my baseline ultrasound and to go over the meds 1 more time before I start the mixing. Jeremy also needs to go so he can get our papers signed saying what to do with the babies (embies) if we divorce, die, separate, ect. Then I start the stimming and have an ultrasound Feb. 3rd, 4th, and 5th at 9 AM, with my 1st blood draw on the 1st of Feb. Anyone going to be around you are more than welcome to join me! I know it probably doesn't sound like fun...but feel free to invite yourself I'm not shy! So it looks like the next step is Lupron....start it on Sunday!!!

You are totally edumacated!
It's awesome to see that you know all about the process, because I think all the rest of us are clueless! It seems a little complicated, and kudos to you for knowing all of it! Seriously!
Wow, you got a great one-on-one class at your clinic...I never got that, ever.
They went thru all the important paperwork with me (of course they want those "liability" releases signed first and foremost), but never went thru all the meds and how to shoot up.
You're lucky to have the practice behind you, so you can be ready for your 1st injection - LUPRON! I hate lupron...I hope you don't have any side effects.
That 1st shot is totally the hardest, but once you do it you'll laugh at yourself for ever being nervous in the 1st place (I sure did). The needle is sooooo small and you don't even feel it. Just pinch that skin and jab! Pinch and jab! You can do it - good luck on Sunday!
